At Aviela Parrots, the safety, health, and comfort of our parrots are our top priorities. We treat every bird as a family member and ensure their journey to your home is safe, secure, and as stress-free as possible.
 
1. Safe & Reliable Live Bird Shipping
We specialize in shipping live parrots across the [Insert Country/Region, e.g., Continental USA] using reputable, bird-friendly courier services (typically USPS Priority Mail Express or specialized airline cargo).
  • Shipping Days: To avoid birds being held up over weekends or holidays, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
  • Shipping Method: We exclusively use Priority Mail Express or Next-Day Air to ensure fast delivery.
  • Weather Safety: We reserve the right to delay shipment due to extreme temperatures (too hot or too cold) at our location or the destination. Safety comes first.
 
2. Packaging & Comfort
Each bird travels in a new, USPS-approved shipping container designed for maximum comfort, security, and proper ventilation.
  • Comfort Features: Containers include perches, absorbent lining, and security mesh.
  • Hydration & Nutrition: Birds are provided with hydration sources (such as apples or carrots) and food (seeds/millet) for the journey.
  • Live Animal Labeling: All boxes are clearly labeled “Live Birds” and “This Way Up”.
 
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on location, weight, and the specialized handling required for live animals.

  • Accessories/Food: Standard courier rates apply. Note: Live birds cannot be shipped together with heavy cages or large accessories.
 
4. Receiving Your Parrot

  • Pickup: You will be expected to pick up your bird promptly from your designated postal facility or airport once it arrives.
  • Inspection: Please visually inspect your bird upon handover. Any concerns must be raised immediately.
 
5. Health Guarantee & Returns
  • Health Check: All birds are examined to be in excellent condition before being shipped.
  • Returns: Due to the risk of exposure to diseases, we do not accept returns on live birds.
  • Damages/Loss: In the unlikely event of a loss, we abide by [USPS/Carrier] policies regarding live animal transport insurance.
